The hilt is deeply engraved blackened silver, with a police "eagle/swastika" design on the right languet, a blank inscription panel on the left, oak leaf and acorn panels overall, a wire wrapped black celluloid grip and a lion head pommel with faceted red eyes, Wrapped around the guard is a silver and black portapee, with black SS runes on the collar of the solid silver acorn. With a black enamel finished metal sheath, a leather belt hanger marked "SS", "1/36" and "RZ/M" on the back, and a gray felt sword pouch.

Excellent. The blade and sheath show a few minor handling marks, with some bright high point wear on the hilt. The silver color is deep and dark, and the portapee is solid. The hanger is a later production item, and a few spots of moth damage and lost stitching are visible on the pouch.
