Description:

Both helmets are constructed with cork bodies, 6-panel cloth crown and 2-panel upper brim, with leather edge trim and a leather sweatband. 1) Kriegsmarine pith helmet, tan canvas external cover with a gold and black finished "Kriegsmarine eagle" shield on the left side and the national tricolor on the right, brown edge trim, "ORI/1941" ink stamped sweatband and a "P.C. TURCK" stamped vent. 2) Kreigsmarine administrator's pith helmet, white cloth cover with a silver finished bundt metal "party eagle" badge on the front, white leather trim and chinstrap, red and green inner lining, "A.Sch.K." and "56" ink stamped sweatband, and a "C.Th. DICKE" stamped vent.

Rating Definition:

1) Very good, with some tearing of the inner lining and mild wear and handling marks. Chinstrap is absent. 2) Very good, with some separation of the crown and brim panels on the exterior and mild staining and handling marks.
