Manufactured in 1926. Pinned "94-C" marked Marble's blade front sight, filler block in the rear dovetail and a Lyman short range tang mounted peep sight. The left rear of the barrel is marked with the Model, Winchester trademark, nickel steel, caliber marking, and the Winchester oval proof is on top of the barrel and receiver at the breech. The upper tang marking is covered and the serial number is marked on the bottom of the receiver. Saddle ring and stud with a leather thong mounted on ring, all blue finish and mounted with a smooth walnut forearm and straight grip stock with a steel carbine buttplate.

Very good. The barrel and magazine tube retain 85% original blue finish with some thinning on the sides, and some minor scratches and dings. The receiver and buttplate have a gray patina with traces original dark blue finish on the receiver in protected areas. The wood has been cleaned and reoiled and remains fine with only light handling marks. The markings are crisp and clear. The action is fine.
