German silver blade front and notch rear sights, with light scroll engraving on the breech and "DERINGER/PHILA" on the top flat, which is repeated on the lock. Checkered stock, with a nickel tipped ramrod, German silver furniture, engraved trigger guard and bag-shaped grips.

Fair. The steel components show a dark gray patina overall, darker on the breech, with heavy pitting around the nipple and muzzle and scattered handling marks. Some cracking and bending of the metal is visible on the hammer, with a small crack across the rear of the lock. The stock is fair, with glue-repaired cracks and chips, along with a number of dents and scuffs. Mechanically good.
