The lock is marked with a single stamp towards the front, with a long spring, internal sear, and a tubular guard over the ball shaped trigger. Smooth straight stock, with a wooden ramrod, 2 brass barrel bands, cherry blossom decorations on the sides of the forearm and buttstock, and a leaping fu-dog on the right side of the buttstock.

Rating Definition:

Good. The barrel shows a mixed brown patina with minor pitting and scattered handling marks. The brass shows a finely aged color overall. Stock is about good, with cracking on the forearm and some bending of the brass plates. Mechanically fair.
