Description:

This is an example of a DWM Model 1900 Luger semi-automatic pistol with added Bulgarian crest on the chamber. Any DWM model 1900 Bulgarian Contract Luger is extremely rare as only a handful of original examples are even known with most of them having been converted to 9mm during their years of service prior to both WWI and WWII. This pistol is serial number (20351) which falls right in line with the known range between 20,000-21,000 for the Bulgarian Contract Lugers. It has the long frame with the old style leaf recoil springs, dished toggles with toggle locks, recessed breech bolt, fast taper 4 3/4 inch barrel, grip safety, first pattern polished lower safety area with Bulgarian marking for SAFETY marked in the up position and no stock lug. Rust blue finish with the straw colors on the small parts and fitted with checkered walnut grips.

Rating Definition:

Very fine as professionally remarked/restored with 98% of the blue finish remaining. The various small parts retain 98% of the straw color. The grips are very good with light wear across the checkering and a small pressure dent on the right panel. The markings are clear and sharp. Mechanically fine.
