This large wall plaque measures 18 inches and diameter and it is by Jacques Edouard (French 19th c). It depicts the Emperor Napoleon on horseback surrounded by the symbols of the First Empire of regimental standards, Napoleonic eagles, Marshal of France, a rising sun and the eagle of destiny. A laurel wreath for hanging the plaque is integrally cast at the top center. Weighs 19 pounds.

Very good with some minor bruises to the high points and most of a protective lacquer coating remains on the front.
