Manufactured in 1923. Has a Marble's white beaded blade front sight, the rear dovetail has a Marble's filler block installed and there is a Marble's tang peep sight installed. The barrel has the 5th type marking with the 3rd type nickel steel marking and the top tang has the 5th style marking. Mounted on a smooth walnut forearm and straight grip stock with a curved steel buttplate.

Fine, 90% of the original blue finish remains on the barrel assembly with scattered minor scratches, dings and flaking. The receiver retains strong traces of the original blue finish having been cleaned with an abrasive and there are areas of extensive surface pitting. The wood is fine with scattered dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
