OE - GOOD - some minor replacement parts; metal smoothly rusted or lightly pitted in places, cleaned; principal lettering, numerals and design on metal legible; lightly scratched, bruised or minor cracks repaired; in good working order.

This interesting box lock pistol is marked "LONDON" on the left side and "EXTRABROOT" on the right. There are no visible proofmarks. The barrel is three quarter or more octagon with a round, flared muzzle section. There is some crude engraving on the frame. It is fitted with a snap bayonet and a one-piece, checkered walnut, bag shaped grip.

Good. The brass components have an aged patina while the iron surfaces are lightly pitted/oxidized and have a dark gray patina. There are stripes of green residue on the left side and rough marks and scratches behind the trigger guard. The grip is very good with crisp checkering and some light scratches. Mechanically needs work.
