The serial number is stamped in script numerals on the lower tang between the lever latch and the tang screw.

Rating Definition:

Good. The rifle has a crisp mottled brown patina on the barrel and magazine tube. The buttplate and lever have a dark brown patina. The frame has a mix of brown and gray patina. There are some light scratches, areas of light pitting, and a few marks throughout. The action is excellent, and the markings are clear. The wood is very good as reoiled with some dings and light scratches throughout and a few small chips.
