Description:

This attractive pair of box lock pistols has "W. Chance & Son London" marked on the top of the barrels. The casehardened frames have scroll engraving and the hammers are engraved with fish heads. Each is fitted with a bag shaped walnut grip with fine checkering and a German silver initial plate. They have folding triggers that drop when the hammer is cocked.

Rating Definition:

Very good. The pistol retains traces of the case colors with otherwise a dark gray patina. There are some minor abrasions and some spots of light pitting. The barrel is loose and spins freely. The grips are very good with only minor imperfections and sharp checkering. Mechanically fine with clear engraving and markings.
