Description:

Each dagger is outfitted with an unmarked steel double edged spear point blade, a brass guard, antique ivory grip and a sheath. 1) Dagger 11 3/8 inches overall with a 6 3/8 inch blade, dual-quillion guard, octagonal faceted one piece grip with a flared pommel sections, and a black leatherette sheath with brass throat and tip. 2) Dagger 10 3/4 inches long with a 6 3/8 inch "flamberge" profile blade, diamond shaped guard, nickel ferrule with geometric patterns, a ribbed round grip with contoured pommel and a brown leather sheath with integral frog and a retention thong.

Rating Definition:

1) Very good. The blade shows an aged gray patina with light spotting and handling marks, a mustard brown color on the guard, a few age cracks and handling marks on the grip, and a number of scuffs and dings on the sheath. The grip has taken on a fine mixed tan and cream color, with well-highlighted grain. 2) Good with a cleaned mixed gray patina on the blade, some dents on the metal, a fine color to the grip and mild scuffing and cracking of the sheath.
