The hilt is fitted with a dual-quillion backed oval guard and a one-piece antique ivory grip with ribbed and fluted edges and a clamshell pattern on the pommel. With a red felt lined black leather sheath, fitted with an iron tip, scalloped iron throat and a single suspension ring.
