Description:

Measuring 8 3/4 inches overall, with a 4 1/2 inch double edged spear point blade. No maker's marks are present. The hilt is fitted with a dual-quillion backed oval guard and a one-piece antique ivory grip with ribbed and fluted edges and a clamshell pattern on the pommel. With a red felt lined black leather sheath, fitted with an iron tip, scalloped iron throat and a single suspension ring.

Rating Definition:

Fine. The metal components show a mixed gray patina with mild spotting and some light handling marks. The hilt is good with a few light scuffs, a light cream color overall and defined grain. The sheath is fair with scuffing and spotting.
