The trigger guard, receiver and magazine have an extensive floral scroll engraving with the top of the receiver matted. The top of the receiver ring has a gold inlaid elephant and the sides of the magazine have gold inlaid game scenes. The underside of the magazine has a gold inlaid triangle and the trigger guard has a gold inlaid big cat. The left side of the receiver ring is marked "WESTLEY RICHARDS/425 MAGNUM/EXPRESS." The barrel is marked "WESTLEY RICHARDS & Co. LONDON" on the left side and "WR DETACHABLE BARREL" on the right side, all above engraved scrollwork. The bolt handle has a horn knob. Blade front sight with a folding hood and pop-up night sight bead. Express leaf sight with four folding and one standing leaf engraved base. The rear sight is graduated to 500 yards. The nicely figured pistol grip stock features multi-point checkering, engraved grip cap with hidden compartment, horn forend tip, sling eyelets, silver overlay on the grip area, shadow line cheekpiece, straight comb and solid recoil pad. It is also equipped with a matching numbered and complimentarily engraved scope mount and an adjustable periscope style scope with cap, original eye piece, reproduction eye piece, and box.
