Correct elevation adjustable Partridge blade front sight and square notch windage adjustable rear sight, the two-line Hartford address and patent dates on top of the barrel, "NEW SERVICE 45 COLT" on the left, "VP" and "8" on the left trigger guard shoulders and the Rampant Colt on the side plate. Fine, sharp checkered is present on the hammer, trigger, front strap and back strap, and the Rampant Colt grips show a combination of diamond-shaped accent flats and angular borders to the checkering panels.
