A) World War II Production Colt Police Positive 38 Revolver with Box

Manufactured circa 1941, this revolver has fixed round blade front and frame notch rear sights, the one-line address on top of the barrel, the model and caliber markings on the left, "VP" and "F" on the left trigger guard shoulders and the Rampant Colt on the left side of the frame. It is fitted with checkered Colt medallion grips and includes a Colt "black box" numbered and labeled to match with a barrel brush along with "SHOOTING SUGGESTIONS" and "COLT PRECAUTION" pamphlets.

ConditionExcellent plus with original box. The revolver retains 99% plus original finish with only light handling/storage type marks and a faint cylinder drag line. The box is fine with one flap of the lid absent and overall some storage type wear.

B) Colt Detective Special Revolver

Manufactured circa 1960 with standard barrel markings, the Rampant Colt on the left side of the frame, and matching serial numbers. It is fitted with checkered walnut grips with silver Colt medallions.

ConditionVery fine. The revolver retains 95% of the original blue finish with some small areas of faded finish, a few faint scratches and a light cylinder drag line. The grips are also very fine with crisp checkering and only handling type marks. Mechanically excellent with crisp markings.
