Description:

This is a late 1945 production, Winchester produced M1 carbine. It has the standard front and rear receiver markings and is fitted with a correct Winchester marked barrel fitted with a type III variation barrel band with bayonet lug. The right side of the rear sight is marked with an "H" in a shield, the left side of the barrel band is marked with a "C" and the magazine release has an underlined "M". It is fitted with the late adjustable rear sight, and standard unmarked front sight. Mounted in a low wood pistol grip stock with oval oiler slot cutout and late war four rivet hand guard with the shallow sight grove. The sling cutout is marked with a "W" with no other cartouches or proofs. It has a late gray parkerized finish with round blued bolt. Complete with a "SI" marked 15 round magazine and a green canvas sling,

Rating Definition:

Near excellent with 95% plus of the original factory wartime finish with finish loss on the bolt body and the right receiver rail with thinning of the parkerizing on the exposed section of the barrel. The reoiled stock is in very fine condition overall with only couple of very minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent
