Description:

1) N.S. Meyer Conqueror Brand Marine Corps NCO Sword, 37 3/4 inches long with a 32 inch blade, showing an etched and gold washed "PROVED" panel on the right ricasso, "372" unarmed squirrel/West Germany markings on the left, 15 inches of etched vine on the spine, and 15 3/4 inch etched scroll/USMC panels on the sides. With a gold washed brass hilt, wire wrapped leather grip, black leather covered scabbard and a leather sword sleeve. 2) Japanese-Made USMC Officer's Mameluke Sword, 35 1/2 inches long, 30 inch etched blade, gilt brass fittings, black leather sword knot, original ivory grips and a nickel finished scabbard with brass fittings and a leather belt hanger.

Rating Definition:

1) Excellent with a few scuffs on the leather and a well aged patina on the brass. 2) Fine with traces of gilt finish and absent chips from the grips.
