Made in 1898. German silver Rocky Mountain blade front and semi-buckhorn rear sights, with the two-line address/patent dates and the caliber marking on the top flat and a full length magazine. The frame has the Rampant Colt on the left side. Smooth straight wrist stock, with a light border pattern on the forearm and a smooth steel buttplate.

Very fine, with 70% plus of the original blue finish, mixed with a brown patina and showing bright edge wear and mild handling marks overall. Stock is fine, with a "streak" of added varnish present on left side of wrist (top with mild dents and scuffs. Mechanically excellent.
