Victorian Era Wheelock Pistol with Elaborately Inlaid Stock

This Victorian Era assembled wheelock pistol has no visible maker's or proofmarks on the plain barrel or lock and no sights. It is fitted on a full length walnut stock that is heavily inlaid with a variety of carved birds, blooms, vines, and geometric patterns. The butt has a large round pommel with an inset disk carved with a profile of a soldier's face. It includes a wooden ramrod with bone tip.

ConditionVery good. The metal surfaces have light spotting and faint pitting. The repaired stock is very good with some handling and storage marks and creamy inlays. Appears mechanically fine.
