Description:

Produced without sights or markings on the spring loaded flip-up barrel, which is controlled by a pushbutton on the left front grip panel, and mounted in parallel to a 3 1/2 inch dagger point blade with a full length unsharpened false edge. The hammer has a curved, checkered spur, and the sear runs along the underside of the frame to a corkscrew style trigger, which can be manually extended or deployed automatically by cocking the hammer. Alongside the sear and trigger is a retention latch for the blade, fitted with a manual release stud at the rear, and additionally can be activated with a strong pull of the trigger. The working components of the pistol are steel, with ribbed German silver panels at the blade hinge and a leafy scroll engraved German silver grip frame. The grips have a finely carved flora design and a lanyard mount on the butt.

Rating Definition:

Fine overall, with a mixed gray patina on the steel, scattered pitting and mild handling marks overall. Traces of a niter blue finish are visible on the corkscrew trigger. Some light dings from firing are visible on the barrel and hammer. Silver components are very good, with some light handling marks. Grips are excellent, with a thin crack on the left front panel, excellent carving detail and superb color. Mechanically excellent. A very fine example of an extremely unique knife pistol.
