Description:

Measuring 35 1/2 inches long with a 29 7/8 inch etched single fuller blade, with a 17 3/4 inch panel of fraternal-themed etching on each side, "Capt. G.G. Lawrence" on the right panel, the Cincinnati Regalia Co. merchant's mark on the left ricasso and a small makers mark (possibly the Berns Brothers "Otterwerk" of Solingen) on the right ricasso. Gilt brass two-branch guard with a wire wrapped black rayskin grip and lion head pommel. With a nickel finished, gilt-fitted Uniform Ranks sheath, a pair of gilt chain hangers and a purple velvet faced, leather backed sword belt with an Independent Order of Odd Fellows buckle.

Rating Definition:

Very good with some light handling marks overall. The belt shows even wear along the face with some worn-through areas of velvet and cracking of the leather.
