This is a very desirable early pre-WWII Walther Model PP pistol in 22 LR caliber complete with the original (unnumbered) Walther box with several Swiss retailer labels. The left side of the slide has the standard: "WALTHER" inside a banner followed by the standard two-line: "Waffenfabrik Walther, Zella Mehlis (Thur) over Walther's Patent Cal 22 MOD PP". The right side of the slide, frame and barrel have the early Commercial "Eagle N" proofs with the six digit serial number on the frame vertically behind the trigger. This has the matching numbered slide factory scribed with the last three digits of the serial number inside the slide opposite the ejection port. It has fixed sights and the early 90 degree safety. It is fitted with the black checkered plastic grips that has the "Walther Banner" at the top of each grip panel. It is complete with one original Walther magazine with the black finger extension base, the original pre-WWII Walther marked, wood-grain box that is marked on the end: "PP Cal. 22 l.r.", a spare unmarked Walther 22LR magazine with the flat base, three old RWS, 22 LR (non-firing/dud) cartridges, the small Walther marked tin box with the horse hair brush and small glass vial inside and the original Walther instruction manual. Interestingly the top left corner of the lid has a small green and yellow retailers label of "W. GLASER Zurich Switzerland". Also inside the lid it has a similar label that reads, "W. GLASER, WAFFEN/---Munitions und Jagdartikel---/ZURICH 1".

Excellent with 99% of the bright original high polish blue finish overall with the typical minor blue loss on the very front edges of the slide from being in the shipping box. The grips are also in excellent condition with nice distinct checkering and markings overall. The box is in very good plus condition with nice markings and color overall showing minor scuffing on top with the lower edge of the lid fraying and slightly separating.
