This controlled feed bolt action rifle was expertly built by John Bolliger of Mountain Riflery. Bolliger is well known for his custom built high end sporting rifles. He is a lifelong hunter and conservationist. Some of his rifles have sold for record setting prices and have helped him raise more for conservation groups than any other riflemaker in history. Bolliger custom rifles are highly sought out by hunters and collectors for their quality craftsmanship. The barrel was made without provisions for fixed sights and is marked "300 Winchester/SHORT MAGNUM" on the left and "John Bolliger/RIFLEMAKER" on the right side. The serial number is marked on the tang and the partial "5449" is marked on the bolt. It has a jeweled magazine follower and bolt with a blued handle with checkered design on the knob. It is fitted on a finely triple -x- fancy grade English walnut pistol grip stock with fleur-de-lis checkering on the forearm and grip. The stocks used by Bolliger come from select sources around the world and are each carefully chosen directly from the cutter and aged carefully in Idaho to ensure stability and integrity. The stock has contrasting ebony forend cap, gold monogrammed grip cap, shadow line cheek rest, decelerator recoil pad, and sling swivel studs. It is equipped with a high end 3-10 x 42 A Habicht Swarovski scope with spectacular optics and a silver eagle on the left side.
