This rifle is a Sako L579 medium action fitted with a custom heavy fluted barrel marked "22 DURHAM JET" and a high powered Weaver T10 scope with Micro-Trac adjustment. The left side of the receiver has the model designation and serial number. It is fitted on a Monte Carlo stock with multi-point checkering at the forend and on the grip, a checkered plastic grip cap, and a serrated plastic buttplate. The stock also has two sling swivel studs.
