Single brass bead sight on a rib marked "PARKER BROS MAKERS. MERIDEN CONN. TWIST", 2 1/2 inch chambers, choked improved cylinder/improved cylinder and extractor. There is light floral scroll engraving at the breech of the barrel and the bottom of the action. Side plates marked "PARKER BROS" and 1875 patent date in front of trigger guard. Checkered pistol grip stock with initial shield on wrist, steel buttplate, hard rubber grip cap and checkered splinter forend. Length of pull is 14 1/4 inches.

Very good. Twisted steel barrels show a fine tiger stripe pattern down the length which has thinned on a few high edges and shows some scattered dings at the muzzle. The frame retains some strong traces of original case colors the balance has silvered out to an even gray patina with some mild pitting on the left side of the frame. The side plates retain approximately 50% vivid case colors mixed with smooth gray patina. The stock and forearm are good a small crack on the left side wrist on the stock and showing only minor pressure marks and crisp checkering.
