Manufactured in 1917. Blade front sight with adjustable "V" notch rear sight on a barrel stamped with the two line address/patent date marking on the upper left ahead of the rear sight and "32 W.C.F." at the breech. The Winchester factory proofs are stamped on the barrel and receiver at the breech. The upper tang has the three-line model/trade mark information with the serial number on the underside of the receiver and "31" marked next to the lever. Full length magazine tube and mounted with a smooth walnut forearm and straight grip stock with steel forend cap and crescent buttplate.

Very good. The rifle retains 75% of the faded original blue finish on the barrel assembly with scattered scratches and dings and a silver patina on the receiver. The markings are clear. The wood is also very good with some scattered scratches and dings. Mechanically fine.
