According to the included factory letter this pistol was shipped as a single item to the Vandervoort Hardware Company of Lansing, Michigan on June 22, 1933. Fixed sights, with the two-line patent and address markings on the left side of the slide, caliber marks on the right and Rampant Colt behind the serrations. Finished in blue overall, with bright case color on the trigger and safeties. Fitted with a pair of checkered Colt medallion grips. With a re-numbered to match pistol Colt "black box", extra magazine, barrel brush and a 1937 dated Michigan concealed carry permit.
