Manufactured in 1918 with solid rib barrels with a brass front bead sight. Choked improved modified/full, 2 1/2 inch chambers with ejectors. Casehardened engraved action marked "ITHACA GUN CO. ITHACA N.Y." and engraved game scenes. The right face shows a Quail, in a field. The left shows a Woodcock also in a field. Both are bordered in a detailed swirling floral motif, with sunbursts at the hinge. The fences, trigger guard, break lever and tangs are likewise engraved in a floral scroll pattern, with the serial number on the lower tang. With double triggers and tang safety. Water table marked "2" over "20". With checkered splinter forearm, extra fancy walnut stock with checkered pistol grip, checkered hard rubber grip cap and Ithaca vented rubber recoil pad. Length of pull is 14 1/2 inches.

Very good overall as refurbished. The barrels have 90% of the blue finish, with some small scratches and areas of thinning. The receiver still displays 45% of the original casehardened finish, the balance having silvered smoothly. Stock is very good, with crisp well defined checkering and only minimal handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
