American-made version of famous Steyr AUG-SA rifle. Originally developed and used by the Austrian Army employing a short stroke gas system and are almost solely constructed from high impact, polymer plastic parts except for the barrel, bolt assembly and the various springs. Overall length of 27 1/2 inches. This example has the low profile Mil-Std 1913 Picatinny rail upper receiver. It has an all black buttstock assembly and forward pistol grip, with black parkerized metal parts. Standard MSAR factory markings and caliber designation. They were designed to be used by right and left handed shooters as they have a reversible ejection port and safety lever, as well as having a quick change barrel assemblies to meet the different tactical needs. This example has the standard flash hider, two position, adjustable gas regulator and folding vertical front grip. Complete with one 10 round magazine.
