This is a rare example of a "30th Anniversary Limited Edition" Bushmaster Model XM15-E2S semi-automatic rifle, number "913 of 1200" made. These were produced on a very limited basis with the right side of the magazine well marked "30th ANNIVERSARY MODEL/BUSHMASTER 1978-2008" over "XXX LIMITED EDITION". It is fitted with a 16 1/2 inch, medium weight fluted barrel with a mid-length gas impingement block with a standard front sight base. It has the post front sight with the 600 meters adjustable rear sight fitted to the detachable carrying handle. It has a standard flattop upper receiver with the Mil-Std-1913 Picatinny rail with the brass deflector, tear drop forward assist and ambidextrous safety levers and markings. The barrel has been fitted with a set of "YHM" aluminum handguards with the Picatinny rails on all four sides, that includes the rail covers. It is fitted with four position telescoping buttstock and a Hogue finger grooved, textured rubber pistol grip. It is complete with two magazines; one 30 round and one 10 round, a black nylon sling plastic storage case and papers.
