Introduced in 2006, this semi-automatic was originally developed by the SIG company for the Swiss Army. These rifles feature a full length gas piston operating system with a 2-position gas valve. It is fitted with a 16 inch barrel with a 1-7 inch twist, chambered in 5.56 NATO. This model has the four position telescoping plastic stock with the ergonomic polymer forend. It uses a lightweight alloy trigger housing, with ambidextrous safety levers and uses a AR style magazine and flash suppressor. It has a Picatinny rail on the upper receiver and folding front sight and battle rear sight. Sig-Sauer marked ribbed pistol grip with a storage compartment inside. It comes with a SIG model Red-Dot rear sight that mounts on the rail on top of the receiver, a trigger lock, spare magazine, instruction manual, extra rubber buttplate and original matching SIG marked blue storage carrying case.

As new with 99% of the original factory finish overall. The stock and forend are both in excellent condition. The Red-Dot sight is still in the original box.
