Manufactured in 1935. Fixed sights, with the "G" date code on the chamber and the "S/42" Mauser code on the toggle link. A series of "stick wing eagle" firing proofs are present on the barrel, extension and breechblock, with "B|90" and "S|91" proofs on the extension. Minus the magazine, external numbers are matching, with "GELADEN" and "GESICHERT" markings on the extractor and upper safety position, straw finished small parts, checkered grips and a nickel finished magazine with alloy base. With a brown leather flap holster dated "1935", and marked for Carl Heinichen of Dresden (WaA42) on the rear.

Very fine, with 80% plus of the blue finish, showing bright edge wear, a small amount of pitting at the muzzle, and some light handling marks overall. A smooth gray patina is forming on the straw components, with bright color in the protected areas. Grips are fine, with some dings and flat spots. Holster is fine, with mild scuffs and wear. Mechanically excellent.
