Description:

The Turbiaux "Squeezer" pistol was patented in France in 1882 by Jacques Edmond Turbiaux. The metal center side plates are marked "BTE S.G.D.C. EN FRANCE ET A L'ETRANGER PARIS" on one side and "LE PROTECTOR SYSTEME E. TURBIAUX" on the other. It has matching serial numbers on the major components, a sliding safety, and smooth side plate inserts.

Rating Definition:

Very good. The pistol retains 40% of the original nickel plating with some flaking, small patches of minor oxidation/pitting, and light scratches. The side plates contrast with one side having aged to a much lighter tone than the other. The action is functional but the chambers do not consistently properly align.
