The lock plate and breech of this pistol are marked "DERINGER/PHILA" and several components have engraving designs including on the ornate finial. It features fixed blade and notch sights, a walnut stock with checkered bag shaped grip, and a wooden ramrod with a replaced textured brass tip.

Rating Definition:

Very good. The pistol has a mixture of faded brown finish and brown patina on the barrel, brown patina on the trigger guard and a dark gray patina on the lock and breech. The German silver furniture remains partially bright with some light aging. There are some minor marks overall and a dent on the left side of the barrel. The stock is also very good with crisp checkering, a few strike marks, and some minor scuffs. The action is excellent and the markings and engraving patterns are clear.
