This revolver is an early model with alloy frame and steel cylinder. It is fitted with the seldom seem three inch barrel that is marked on the right side "AIRWEIGHT / 38 SPL. CTG." and with the standard S&W markings on the frame. It has the serrated ramp front sight with notch frame rear sight with the color casehardened trigger and shrouded hammer. Rating Definition:

Excellent overall with 98% plus original blue and anodized finishes. Displaying some light handling marks and minute edge wear near the muzzle as well as some small nicks on a few sharp edges of the frame. The grips are excellent with attractive dark color and sharp checkering. Box is very good with some edge and storage wear. Mechanically excellent.
