Description:

This pistol was manufactured in 1931 with fixed sights, the two-line address and patent dates on the left side of the slide, the caliber markings on the right, matching serial number stamped around the firing pin hole, a short milled trigger, arched checkered mainspring housing, and checkered grips. The left side of the trigger guard is stamped "1/VP", and "60" is on the right. The included factory letter confirms that configuration (grips "Not Listed") and that it was one of three guns of this type in a shipment to Honeyman Hardward Company in Portland, Oregon, on March 24, 1931. It comes in a factory black box with Colt advertisements on the inside of the lid and bottom, a bore brush, and original Colt Automatic Pistol Super .38 and Super Match Models manual. The box appears to have never had any end labels or grease pencil marks.

Rating Definition:

Very fine as professionally restored with 99% of the blue finish, some light spotting on the hammer, and minor handling marks overall. The magazine is marked for a 45 ACP Government Model with "Kieth's" hand-marked on the base. The grips are fine with some minor chips around the upper screws and a few light dents on the checkering. Mechanically excellent. The box is very fine with some slight storage type wear.
