Manufactured in 1957. The left rear of the barrel is marked "MADE IN NEW HAVEN, CONN./--U.S. OF AMERICA--" followed by "-WINCHESTER-/--TRADE MARK--" followed by "MODEL 62A-/22 S. L. OR L.R." and the Winchester oval proof is marked on the top of the barrel and receiver at the breech. The matching serial number is marked on the lower tang and bottom of the receiver. Blade front and adjustable rear sporting sights. Fitted with a 17 groove flat bottom walnut forearm and smooth straight grip stock with checkered plastic buttplate. Complete with the original two-piece picture box numbered to the gun, instruction manual, Model 62 hanging tag and a Winchester "Time Payment Plan" hanging tag.
