Just over 2,000 Model 70 rifles were manufactured in this variation between 1969 and 1971. It features a ramped and hooded front sight, adjustable Williams rear sight, post 1964 type push feed action with a jeweled bolt and recoil cross pin, and a Mannlicher checkered Monte Carlo stock with sling swivels and a rubber rifle butt pad with white spacer.

Excellent plus. The rifle retains 98% plus of the original finish with only a few handling/storage marks. The wood is in matching condition with sharp checkering. This is an exceptional example of the rare Mannlicher style Model 70 manufactured by Winchester for only a brief period.
