Measuring 57 3/4 inches overall, the core of the bandolier is a 1 1/8 inch wide brown leather belt, fitted with an end hook, decorative iron plates, and a series of hooks and swivels. Mounted on the belt are a rawhide pouch with iron reinforcement, a smaller brown leather pouch and a leather charge carrier with 6 carved hardwood single shot powder holders. Notes from the consignor attribute the bandolier to Central Asia, 17th-19th century.
