Description:

This cannon weighs 311.5 pounds, is 39 inches in overall length with a 35 inch barrel, and has a 2 1/2 inch bore. The barrel is narrower for the first 22 1/2 inches. The trunnions are located at 18 1/2 inches from the muzzle. There are no visible markings but the cannon is similar to other known American cannons from the mid-19th century.

Rating Definition:

Fair with black paint coating overall for protection. The surfaces are pitted with some bright oxidation. There are some later marks/paint near and on the trunnions.
