Introduced in 1952, the Type 52 is a direct copy of the Walther PPK semi-automatic pistol and may have been made using original Walther tooling the Soviets captured in the Second World War that became redundant after East Germany transitioned to the Makarov pistol. Blade and notch sights with "002013 (star) 1952" on the slide and "(star)356" on the sides of the wrap-around grip.
Very good with 40% of the original blue finish showing bright edge wear, a gray patina on the slide, plum on the frame and scattered handling marks. The grips are warping slightly at the front edge with a few light dents. Mechanically excellent.
