Very similar to the pistols produced in the Eibar region of Spain from the early 1900s through the end of World War I. Commonly categorized as a "Ruby" type pistol, these were primarily made for export to surrounding European nations and to the United States generally under names which would give the illusion of French or Belgian origin. This pistol, however, is only marked with the serial number. With a fixed barrel, striker fired, fixed sights, and checkered hard rubber grips.
