Manufactured between 1931 and 1939. A French copy of the Belgian FN Browning Model 1910, produced for sale by Cartoucherie Francais of Paris. Left side of slide is marked "PISTOLET AUTOMATIQUE CAL 7.65m./AUDAX MARQUE DEPOSEE/FABRICATION FRANCAISE". With mismatched "AUDAX/FN" hard rubber grips.

Fine with 60% faded original rust blue finish displaying areas of edge wear, light scratches, minor spotting and scattered dings. Grips are fair with the right panel being a modified FN hard rubber grip. Mechanically fine.

Marked "AMERICAN AUTOMATIC PISTOL WALMAN PATENT" on the left side of the slide with superior crown/N proofs stacked on the right side. Similar in form to other Eibar region pistols of the time period.

Fine overall with 60% faded original blue finish displaying areas of light edge wear, scattered small scratches and minor spotting. Grips are fine with clear lettering and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
