Description:

Sometimes referred to as the Walther Transitional Model 3/4, this represents a transition from the model 3, by improving the sights, enlarging the frame and increasing magazine capacity. Like the model 3, the extractor and ejection port are on the left side of the slide. The left side of the slide is marked "SELBSTLADE-PISTOLE CAL. 7.65 WALTHER'S PATENT" over the standard Walther banner. The forward portion of the slide has a serrated pivoting takedown catch. The right is simply marked "MADE IN GERMANY". Fitted with checkered hard rubber grips with the caliber designation molded into the tops.

Rating Definition:

Fine, with 60% slightly faded original blue finish. Displaying areas of edge and cycling wear, as well as some scattered spotting and light pitting. Grips are good with moderate wear, having aged to a mellow chocolate color, and the markings have smoothed a bit. Mechanically excellent.
