Manufactured between 1977 and 1990. Originally manufactured to imitate the IMP aircrew survival weapon developed by Armalite but in the full size .223/5.56 caliber. The grip can rotate 38 degrees either direction for left or right hand operation. It uses a gas piston system to cycle the action and uses standard AR-15 magazines. The safety is located on the left rear of the receiver and it is marked on the right front "BUSHMASTER PISTOL/BUSHMASTER FIREARMS/PORTLAND, MAINE USA/ 5.56MM". Fitted with an AR-15 style black checkered pistol grip with gold Colt medallions. Complete with wood presentation case, two magazines, history booklet and manual.

Excellent with 97% of the original factory polished steel finish with minor handling overall. The grip is excellent with crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.

This is an early Bushmaster Bullpup designed pistol that was manufactured in the late 1970's/80. This pistol features a rotating bolt system combined with a gas piston system similar to the AK-47 rifle. Fitted with a birdcage style flash hider, sling swivels and black checkered pistol grip. Complete with a black nylon sling.

Excellent with 95% of the blue/black finish with scattered scratches and dings and a few areas of oxidation. The grip is very good with crisp checkering. Mechanically fine.
