Manufactured in 1989, the "HK911" was a result of a import ban instituted by President Bush in 1989 on foreign semi-automatic rifles; the HK91 was no longer able to be sold in the U.S., but a batch of around 1000 was already sitting in a U.S. Customs warehouse, and had an extra "1" added before being released. It still retains the original post front sight with the fully adjustable rear sight, muzzle break and triangular shaped forend. It has been upgraded with an original H&K, PSG1 type trigger group with the trigger shoe enlarged walnut pistol grip with a H&K PSG-1 type adjustable target stock that features the adjustable comb and buttplate with the lower rear grip area. Included with the rifle is a C.M.O. Japanese made, scope marked "Special Edition STANAG Mount/ 4x21 scope" (fitted with a 5.56mm elevation knob) fitted on an original German made H&K pattern scope mount. This lot includes two 5-round magazines, a cleaning kit, an original H & K hardwood PSG type wooden case and an English-language PSG-1 maintenance manual.
