Manufactured in 1983. The consignor notes this rifle was produced specifically to be auctioned at the 1984 Safari International Show and personally donated by Mr. Bill Ruger. With a high blade with bead front sight, adjustable flip up express style rear sight, and an adjustable Williams rear aperture sight. The scroll engraved receiver is notched for Ruger scope rings. The barrel is heavy with a deep polished blue finish, and two gold bands inlaid forward of the breech. The floor plate is engraved with the Safari Club International lion and shield logo with a scroll border. The trigger guard is similarly scroll engraved. Mounted on a one piece multi-point checkered fancy walnut pistol grip stock with sling swivel studs, plastic Ruger grip cap and solid Ruger recoil pad.
