This is an excellent example of a late production 1906 Model DWM Navy type Commercial Luger. The top of the chamber area is blank, and the front toggle marked with the standard DWM logo. It also has the longer 6 inch Navy length barrel, the two position Navy type rear sight, grip safety, and stock lug. The left side of the barrel extension has a single "crown/ N" proof that is repeated on the underside of the barrel and the left side of the breechblock. It is correctly numbered in the commercial manner with the full serial number on the front of the frame and underside of barrel and the last two digits (04) on the takedown latch, side plate, rear toggle trigger and grip safety. It has unnumbered walnut grips and an early tin plated magazine body with an unnumbered/unmarked wooden base.
