A) U.S. Westinghouse Model 1891 Nagant Rifle

Produced by Westinghouse under Imperial Russian contract, then sold to the U.S. Army after the Russian Revolution prevented delivery. Blade front and folding ladder rear sights, with the chamber marked with the Imperial crest over "NEW ENGLAND/WESTINGHOUSE/COMPANY/1915r" and American "eagle head" proofs added to the barrel and smooth straight wrist stock.

ConditionFine, with 50% of the blue finish, showing areas of brown patina, spotting and light pitting. The floor plate has been replaced. Stock is very good, with cracking and loose pins in the handguard, an oversized cut for the magazine, dents and mild chips. Mechanically excellent.

B) Canadian Ross M-10 Straight Pull Rifle

Hooded blade front sight and receiver peep sight. Top of receiver ring marked "ROSS RIFLE CO./CANADA/M-10/PATENTED" with Canadian proofmarks on the barrel and receiver. Smooth pistol grip stock with a smooth steel buttplate and a pull-through bore cleaner in the buttstock compartment.

ConditionVery fine, with 85% plus of the original blue finish, showing areas of brown patina, light spotting and scattered handling marks. The stock is also very fine, with some light scratches and dents. Mechanically excellent.
